2009-2010 Excellence Awards

SEARCH FOR EXCELLENCE Nominations are now being accepted for the Excellence Awards. Do you know a Mona Shores employee who is exceptional in his/her field? Always gives his/her all? If you can answer yes to these questions, then you may have a candidate for Mona Shores Public School’s Excellence Award. Nominations are being accepted now through June 30, 2010. The nomination form is available at all school offices and can be located on the Mona Shores Education Foundation web page http://www.monashoreskids.com/index.php  Any community member, student, or staff member may nominate one or more Mona Shores employees for the award. We will be presenting five awards to our district employees. 

Teaching Staff 

• Inspires students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn.
• Has the respect and admiration of students, parents and colleagues.
• Plays an active and useful role in the community, as well as in the school.
•  Has a minimum of five years of successful teaching experience.
   

Support Staff

• Is an exceptionally dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilled member of the support staff.
• Goes above and beyond the call of duty.
• Is supportive of the learning environment.
• Plays an active and useful role in the community.
• Has a minimum of five years of successful experience in his/her current position.

Members of the awards committee will review nominations for the Excellence Awards.  Final decisions are based on recommendations and conversations with the nominees’ co-workers and supervisors.  

The Excellence Awards Program is made possible by the Mona Shores Education Foundation.
