Meeting Minutes May 5, 2010 Present: Bob Grevious, Shannon Glinski, Lynn Diffell, Bonnie Adamczak, Chris Burnaw, Karol Kulikowski, Andy Hogston, Shelley Hall Minutes Grevious motioned to approve the March 2010 minutes. Kulikowski seconded. Motion approved. Treasurer’s Report Checking Account: $6,778.70Community Foundation: $132,131.36 Wine Tasting 2010 Profit $5,754.50Skating Parties 2010 Profit $360.00 Glinski motioned to approve the Treasurer’s Report. Grevious seconded. Motion approved. Diffell asked Terry Babbitt to talk with Mike Schlentz about completing our IRS 990 form. Wine Tasting The 2010 Wine Tasting was another great success. We had smaller attendance but a more manageable crowd. We made less on the raffle but this could have been due to the smaller attendance. By not having the silent auction the end of night cashiering was much simpler. We made more in wine sales than we have in previous years. Many people forgot to pick up their wine orders at Ladd’s but phone calls were made and now everything has been picked up. Great job everyone! Skating Party We had about 70 kids attend our skating party. We combined both the elementary and middle school rather than having two separate parties. Elections 2010-2011 Officer Elections were held. Adamczak motioned to elect Bob Grevious as President. Burnaw seconded. Motion approved.Kulikowski motioned to elect Lynn Diffell as Treasurer. Adamczak seconded. Motion approved.Diffell motioned to elect Chris Burnaw as Secretary. Kulikowski seconded. Motion approved. Our Vice President position remains open at this time. Excellence Awards Nominations are coming in and are due by June 1, 2010. We would like to have all nominations in for review for our June 2 board meeting. Correspondence None Other It was suggested that we survey the group for ideas for meeting days/times to boost meeting attendance. Our next meeting will be June 2, 2010 4 pm at the Hearthstone. Hall motioned to have MSEF purchase appetizers for this meeting. Grevious seconded. Motion approved.
